Pastor and Staff
Thank you for your interest in Rose Hill Baptist Church. The Lord has enabled me to serve as Pastor here since 1969. In my time here in the DC metro area, the pace of our region has only quickened. People come and go so rapidly, especially our military personnel. Having served in the Marine Corps myself, I know how important a good church family can be.
I encourage you to visit us soon. We would love to be your church home, even if you are just passing through our area for a brief time. Give us the opportunity to extend a welcoming hand to you and your family, and open your heart and mind to receive the preaching and teaching of God's Word the Bible. Church Staff
Dr. Emory M. Upshaw, Senior Pastor
Dr. and Mrs. (Patty) Upshaw have been serving the Lord at Rose Hill Baptist Church since August 24, 1969. Mrs. Upshaw serves as Pianist and Secretary. They have two children who attend Rose Hill along with their families.
Rev. Larry Coggins, Visitation Pastor
Pastor and Mrs. (Vera) Coggins have been serving the Lord at Rose Hill since 1986. He faithfully labors in the Visitation ministry. Pastor and Mrs. Coggins have two adult children who continue to serve the Lord here at Rose Hill.
